Thursday Things

1.     Holy moly does this feel weird – I missed TT last week and now I’m trying to think of interesting things to say. It’s harder than usual.

2.     I think I’m so thrown of kilter because I went home two weekends in a row. I did, in fact, go see my little sister off to her prom. I surprised her the morning of the big day to help her get ready and take pictures and see her off. She looked gorgeous. And happy.

3.     I’m halfway through this book and completely hooked. I read The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao last year for an English class (one of the few books I actually read for a class) and it was easily one of the best books I’ve ever read and now this one is climbing up in the ranks too.

4.     My momma and I did church and doughnuts (donuts? I never know…) on Sunday. She teaches me such serious life lessons, like the best way to freshen up would-be stale doughnuts and cinnamon rolls is to pop them in the microwave for a few seconds and then spread a little butter on them. Boom.

5.     I think I’ve listened to the Pitch Perfect soundtrack approximately 742 times since I bought it last weekend.

6.     On that note, Skylar Astin? Hoo-ha!

7.     Feeling a lot better about my lack of love life right now.

8.     After my midterm evaluation, getting reading for the huge Sweets & Snacks Expo next week, finalizing articles for the June magazine, and getting negative amounts of sleep I need to remember these 27 Ways Stressed is Just Desserts Spelled Backwards

9.     My friends from home coming to visit me this weekend should hopefully help with that too.

10.   I’m on season four of The Nanny. What is my life?
